On the morning of Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Recife, the capital of the state of Pernambuco in Brazil, 67 year old Elizabeth Andrade committed suicide by jumping from her apartment on the 10th floor of the apartment building in poshy Tower district of Recife.
According to the information from the fire department, the woman was acting like she was out of her mind. After hours of trying to talk her out of jumping, the woman surprised everyone and suddenly jumped. She landed next to a pool belonging to the Golden Bayer Building.
The case mobilized and shocked everyone who was passing by the location. Officer on duty learned that the woman suffered from deep depression. Still – suicide at 67? Also… while living in a nice apartment many people from the city could only dream of?
