After he’d been diagnosed with cancer, Marechal Rondon of São Paulo, Brazil could not bear the thought of the disease consuming his body, and committed suicide by jumping off an overpass.
Since the overpass is not too high above the road, mere jump off there would not have killed him. He must have literally dived head first onto the pavement below. That is something we have seen at Best Gore before.
It definitely takes major determination to die to nosedive off an overpass. Being diagnosed with cancer is a nasty undertaking, but there were cases of people being told they had only 6 months to live, but against all odds, beat the disease. Never underestimate the ability of the human body to heal itself.
